Job Overview

The role of the Cyber Security Lead in Latin America involves identifying, escalating, and leading cross-functional task forces to address information security risk within the region.

This position plays a critical leadership role, reporting to the Americas Head of Cyber Security. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in cyber security, risk management, or information assurance, along with strong leadership skills to coordinate actions across multiple functions and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Technology Services team to ensure on-track remediation of key cyber-related matters
  • Coordinate cyber security responses across the organization to regulatory examinations, audits, attestations, and performing gap analyses against new or updated mandates
  • Demonstrate compliance to laws, regulations, and industry standards that govern cyber security through the application of standards and best methodologies including NIST and ISO
  • Promote cyber hygiene and information security risk transparency, responding to cyber incidents, and providing security training and awareness
  • Develop reports and briefs on a periodic basis regarding the status of the cyber security program, key initiatives, including threats, incidents to management, including but not limited to, Board of Directors, IT/Business Management, and Risk Committees/Forums

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree, ideally in computer science or similar field
  • Cyber security certifications (e.g. CISSP, CISM, CISA, or CRISC) are an advantage
  • Fluent in Portuguese, Spanish, and English
  • Able to communicate both written and verbal for business key partners and management audience
