Chief Financial Officer

We are seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer to join our team. As a key member of our leadership group, you will play a crucial role in shaping and driving our financial strategy.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned finance professional to join a fast-growing startup in the climate technology space. Our company is dedicated to addressing climate change through innovative solutions, and we are looking for someone who shares our passion and values.

As Chief Financial Officer, you will be responsible for leading our finance function, developing and implementing our financial strategy, and ensuring that we have the necessary resources to achieve our goals.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive financial strategy aligned with our business objectives.
  2. Lead the finance function, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  3. Establish and maintain relationships with investors, lenders, and other external stakeholders.
  4. Manage our cash flow and ensure that we have sufficient funds to meet our operational needs.
  5. Provide strategic guidance and support to our CEO and other members of the leadership team.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 7-8 years of experience in finance leadership roles, preferably in asset management, investment banking, or scaling high-growth startups.
  • Proven track record in fundraising, particularly in securing debt financing.
  • Well-established network of relationships within the international financial ecosystem.
  • Experience navigating global financial markets and regulations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
