Job Purpose

This temporary position (9-month contract) involves evaluating, inspecting, and analyzing raw materials, intermediates, and finished goods by performing sensory and/or physical and/or analytical tests to ensure compliance with product safety regulations, specifications, and standards.

Core Responsibilities
  • Perform quality control analysis of raw materials, intermediates, and finished goods by performing sensory and/or physical and/or analytical tests.
  • Calibrate basic equipment and perform non-routine maintenance tasks noted in calibration/maintenance procedures.
  • Investigate instrument, equipment, and quality deviations/troubleshooting in the laboratory.
  • Implement improvements in Quality Control and set proactive measures for trouble prevention.
Academic Background

A bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmacy, or a related discipline is required. A master's degree in Analytical Chemistry is a plus.

Professional Experience

Overall work experience of 3 to 4 years in a similar position is required. Previous background in Analytical Quality Control is necessary.

Technical Skills

Laboratory and/or Quality Control techniques are required. Operational experience in a laboratory environment, analytical equipment, and instruments such as weighing balance, Densitometer, Refractometer, Karl Fischer Titrator, and GC is needed. Knowledge of chemical substances, hazardous material, and related local regulations is essential. Good Sensory Evaluation experience is preferred. Intermediate English level is required.
