Plumber Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Plumber to join our team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of plumbing expertise and be able to analyze, diagnose, and resolve customer problems in a professional manner.

Main Responsibilities
  • Analyze customer complaints and identify the root cause of issues.
  • Maintain and repair plumbing systems, including those carrying water, steam, chemicals, and fuel.
  • Assemble pipe sections, tubing, or fittings using appropriate methods and equipment; weld or solder where required.
  • Locate and mark positions of pipe installations and fixtures; cut openings as needed.
  • Install pipe assemblies and fixtures using hand or power tools; secure supports; cut openings to accommodate piping.
Skill Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a Plumber or 2+ years in plumbing.
  • Thorough knowledge of plumbing codes, regulations, and best practices.
  • Experience interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Strong understanding of plumbing systems, materials, and tools.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Effective communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects.
