Cross-Functional Collaboration Specialist

We are looking for a skilled Cross-Functional Collaboration Specialist to lead the first phase of client interactions. This is an exciting opportunity to work with clients, identify business needs, and develop effective solutions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting client discovery sessions, translating ambiguous requirements into clear actionable objectives, and building strong relationships with stakeholders. They will also own the creation of proposals, timelines, and solution outlines, collaborating with sales, UX, QA, and engineering teams to ensure seamless scoping.

In this role, you will identify constraints, risks, and edge cases early in the conversation, break down solutions into project phases and feature groupings, and document deliverables such as process flows, vision docs, and feature sets. You will validate requirements with internal teams before client delivery and present project proposals with clarity, confidence, and empathy.

• Lead client discovery and whiteboard sessions alongside a Tech Lead.
• Translate ambiguous client needs into clear, actionable requirements.
• Build a strong rapport with business and technical stakeholders.
• Own the creation of proposals, timelines, and solution outlines.
• Collaborate with Sales, UX, QA, and Engineering on scoping.

• Experience in consulting or custom software delivery environments.
• Proven background supporting pre-sales, scoping, or discovery phases.
• Strong history of working with cross-functional teams (Tech Lead, UX, QA).
• Familiarity with SDLC, Agile / Scrum practices, and common delivery risks.
• Experience in mid-sized or growth-stage tech firms.
