About This Role

We are seeking a skilled Talent Manager to join our team. As a Talent Manager, you will be responsible for the scheduling and performance management of a group of consultants across various offices and practices. You will work closely with partners and talent managers to assemble consulting teams and address any issues that may arise.

This is a hybrid role that requires three days of in-office work per week. You will be expected to proactively balance the needs of the business with the preferences, career goals, and development needs of your team members.

As a Talent Manager, you will use the performance management process to engage with your consultants on their development needs and areas for training. You will also develop relationships with each consultant and become a trusted advisor to them. Additionally, you will assist in directing consultants towards resources for career advice and help escalate employee relations issues or questions about general Human Capital operations.

You will monitor work-life-quality issues and escalate when necessary. Collaboration with the Human Capital Manager on managing the pyramid, training, onboarding, performance improvement initiatives, understanding the nuances of the type of work/roles being filled, and liaising with project team leaders to understand staffing needs are also key responsibilities of this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage consultants on development needs and areas for training using the performance management process
  • Develop relationships with each consultant and become a trusted advisor
  • Direct consultants towards resources for career advice
  • Educate consultants on Employee Relations issues or questions
  • Monitor Work-Life-Quality Issues and escalate when needed
  • Collaborate with HC Manager on Managing the Pyramid, Training, Onboarding, Performance Improvement Initiatives
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience. Three to five years of relevant professional experience in a fast-paced client services business environment is required. Management consulting and/or Human Resources experience is preferred.

The ideal candidate should be able to establish and grow relationships at all levels within an organization, communicate and negotiate effectively while managing diverse personalities, cultures, and backgrounds. Self-motivation, creativity, and a strong attention to detail are essential for this role.

A strong interest in the development and career success of the consultants you work with is critical. The ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously is required. English and Spanish language proficiency is also preferred.
