Job Overview

The Sales Growth Specialist role plays a pivotal part in driving AWS-wide priority growth initiatives. This position represents Global Services (GS) as part of a cross-functional team, contributes to growth initiative strategy and planning, and collaborates with customers, field teams, and GS Business Units (BUs) to execute and close customer opportunities aligned with the initiative.

Key Responsibilities

  • Articulate GS value proposition for targeted customer cohorts within the growth initiative.
  • Work with customer account teams, stakeholder teams, and partners to secure customer wins and public references as part of the growth initiative and for GS.
  • Develop and iterate on viable win strategies and routes to market for GS services/offerings within the overall initiative.
  • Provide feedback to GS product teams to shape existing and assemble new GS offerings.
  • Partner with the GS deals team on tailored proposals during the sales cycle.
  • Codify successful win strategies and tactics for account teams and GS Business Development/Sales teams.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in sales/Business Development roles at a technology products and services company.
  • 3+ years of experience in incubation sales/Business Development or related roles with demonstrated results.
  • Able to write and execute high-quality focused sales/Business Development plans to secure early lighthouse customer wins and references.
  • Demonstrated aptitude to pick up new domains/offering and learn to become an expert.
  • Track record of being 'right a lot' and delivering results with early-stage business development activities.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills (both written and verbal).
  • Experience communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders across multiple teams.

Estimated Salary Range:$145,000 - $210,000 per year depending on location and experience
