Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior PHP Developer to enhance existing projects and develop new features, including building and improving websites and implementing different strategies for existing products and tools based on requirements.

This role combines the creativity of new development with the stewardship of maintaining large projects, requiring a versatile and proactive approach.

We are looking for candidates who are passionate about software engineering and enjoy developing their skills and abilities in a friendly and supportive environment of keen learners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enhance existing projects and develop new features
  • Build and improve websites based on specific needs
  • Implement strategic improvements for products
  • Engage in problem-solving and prototyping activities
  • Interact with stakeholders to clarify and set project objectives
  • Handle a variety of tasks including documentation, customer support, and product troubleshooting
  • Own and maintain the quality and functionality of products
  • Balance creative development with the responsibility of managing large projects

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or any related technical field
  • At least 5 years of experience in developing Web applications using PHP and Javascript
  • Familiar with HTML/CSS and preprocessors like SCSS & LESS
  • Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and design patterns
  • Experience using Git for version control
  • Knowledgeable in Bash, Linux environments, and SSH
  • Experience with Docker for containerization
  • Skilled in using Redis for caching
  • Well-versed in HTTP protocols and RESTful services
  • Proficient in MySQL
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience with Kibana and Grafana
  • Experience working in Agile development environments.
