Legal Counsel

We are seeking a skilled Legal Counsel to join our team in Brazil. As a key member of our HR department, you will advise on labor and employment laws, rules, and regulations, as well as develop and interpret employee-related policies and benefits.

• Advise the People Department and the Legal Team on labor and employment laws, rules, and regulations.
• Develop and interpret employee-related policies and benefits, including private pension and employment agreements.
• Analyze existing policies and benefits vis-à-vis best market practices.
• Support the HR area with analyses on policies, new benefits, and programs, taking into account business needs versus risks.
• Support Corporate Matters, such as BR taxes, contracts analysis, and other topics aligning with the General Manager of the Brazil Office.

• Admitted to practice law in Brazil.
• Solid experience in employment/labor law.
• Experience drafting and negotiating employment-related agreements.
• Able to identify and assess legal risks versus business opportunities and advise accordingly.
• Supervise, manage, and evaluate outside counsel on employment-related matters and litigation.
• Capable of working independently and adaptively in a fast-paced environment.
