Backend Software Architect Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Backend Software Architect to join our team and contribute to the design and implementation of our payment systems. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of payment flows, settlement, reconciliation, and fraud detection mechanisms.

  • This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled software engineer who wants to take on a leadership role in shaping the architecture of our payment systems.

The ideal candidate will have experience with Java 11+, Spring Boot, and AWS cloud services. They will also be familiar with transaction management, database tuning (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or NoSQL stores), and high-availability strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and implement scalable, secure, and reliable payment systems using Java 11+, Spring Boot, and AWS cloud services.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver highly scalable, performant solutions.
  3. Leverage event-driven software design patterns and complex systems architecture to drive innovation and improvement.
  4. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers, guiding them in best practices and efficient coding techniques.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in backend software development, with at least 3 years leading teams and architecting payment systems.
  • Strong understanding of payment flows, settlement, reconciliation, and fraud detection mechanisms.
  • Deep knowledge of Java 11+, Spring Boot, and AWS cloud services.
  • Familiarity with transaction management, database tuning (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or NoSQL stores), and high-availability strategies.
