Operational Purchasing Specialist

The role of Operational Purchasing Specialist plays a key part in the management and execution of operational purchasing tasks, ensuring the company achieves its delivery service objectives to customers.

Main Responsibilities:

• Participating in Planning Processes:
• Assisting the Purchasing Manager in assessing logistics solutions for Raw Materials (RM) and communicating findings to category managers;
• Safeguarding Supplier Invoice Control:
  • Ensuring compliance with company guidelines;
  • Following relevant customs regulations;
• Monitoring and Reporting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
• Importing Raw Materials, Packaging, Finished Goods, and Indirect Products:
  • Maintaining factory operations;
  • Quoting freight rates and coordinating collections with freight forwarders;
  • Analyzing imported cargo documents and monitoring DI registration and clearance with Customs Brokers;
  • Updating import processes in the ERP system import module;
• Order Management:
  • Placing orders for finished products with other factories worldwide;
  • Following up with the sales department on intercompany finished product import processes;
• Tax Support:
  • Assisting the tax department in calculating import taxes and preparing entry invoices;
• Concession Act Management:
  • Monitoring concession acts for the use of Drawback on imports of Raw Materials and Packaging;
• Customs Regime Evaluation:
  • Analyzing and evaluating special customs regimes in import processes;
• Delivery Supervision:
  • Controlling and supervising import deliveries to the factory.
