Therapist Role

We are seeking a skilled therapist to join our team. As a Registered Behavior Technician, you will provide one-on-one care to children with autism in their homes.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality direct care services to clients with autism at their residences.
  • Develop and implement behavior plans that promote skill acquisition and positive reinforcement.
  • Build relationships with clients to understand their interests and motivators, enabling effective therapy implementation.
  • Collaborate with supervising Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to design and implement behavior intervention plans.
  • Collect accurate data for treatment plans and behavior programs, providing valuable insights for BCBAs.
  • Consult regularly with BCBAs for guidance, training, and supervision to enhance therapeutic outcomes.
  • Adjust interventions as instructed by BCBAs to optimize client progress.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of each client's intervention and plan to deliver high-quality services.
  • Renew RBT certification annually by completing the Competency Assessment and Annual Renewal form, adhering to BACB guidelines.
  • Accurately track RBT supervision hours to ensure compliance with internal and external regulations.
  • Participate in clinical team meetings and ongoing training to stay up-to-date on best practices.
  • Ensure all sessions are thoroughly documented, signed, and submitted for timely billing.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Registered Behavior Technician Certificate with the BACB.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including prolonged periods of walking, running, standing, bending, kneeling, squatting, climbing, and stooping.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
  • Strong communication skills for speaking with clients' families and writing session notes.
  • Confident interpersonal skills for interactions with the clients' families.
  • Valid driver's license or access to reliable transportation.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Verifiable work references and passing a background check are mandatory.
  • A minimum of six months of experience working with individuals with autism in a supervised setting is preferred.
