Project Engineering Leadership Opportunity

As a seasoned Project Engineering Lead, you will be responsible for developing and implementing cutting-edge automated improvement solutions and new projects on equipment with automatic production processes. Your primary objective will be to enhance operational performance and minimize rejection rates while adhering to stringent Quality, Safety, and Client Requirements standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Control and Automation Engineering team in projects, serving as the single point of contact for scope both internally and with customers.
  • Ensure that functional requirements, quality, 'design for safety' and engineering delivery times meet or exceed expectations.
  • Review and approve electrical, optical, hydraulic schematics, as well as related subsea distribution systems within projects.
  • Develop, review, or approve Control System documentation within project specifications, schematics, test, and qualification procedures.
  • Define project architecture solutions to effectively comply with customer requirements.
  • Conduct sub-system Design Reviews, granting sub-system design freeze.
  • Participate in Design Review meetings, ensuring client requirements, quality, and good practices are met.
  • Create and manage project activities and sub-activities, ensuring execution aligns with man-hours and technical solution budgets.
  • Ensure correct interfaces of control system equipment within projects.
  • Facilitate smooth communication among engineering, planning, procurement, project management, industrial engineering, and quality groups.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Control and Automation, or relevant fields.
  • Experience in subsea control system engineering.
  • Knowledge of overall subsea production systems, particularly control systems.
  • International standards knowledge related to subsea control systems (API7F, API6A, etc.).
  • Risk matrix and risk assessment capabilities.
  • Advanced English language skills.
  • Intermediate Office package skills.
