Backend Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Software Engineer to join our team.

  • This is an opportunity to design, build and maintain complex software systems using Java and related frameworks.
  • The ideal candidate will have expertise in creating and maintaining RESTful APIs for communication between frontend and backend.
  • A strong understanding of database management, ensuring data integrity and optimizing SQL queries.
  • Familiarity with unit and integration testing methodologies to ensure high-quality code.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Solid knowledge of Java (Core, Collections, Concurrency) and build tools (Maven/Gradle).
  • Practical experience implementing Apache Beam transforms and deploying Dataflow jobs.
  • Familiarity with Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, IAM roles and overall security practices.
  • Comfortable with writing unit tests and code reviews.
  • Experience with BigQuery, relational DBs or NoSQL stores.
  • Familiarity with Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.
