Senior Android Developer Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned and skilled Senior Android Developer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience developing and shipping high-quality Android apps to large user bases. They will be responsible for designing, building, testing, and maintaining mobile applications using Kotlin.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and integrate features into our existing Android app
  • Maintain and improve the overall performance and user experience of the app
  • Collaborate with designers and engineers to identify and implement new features and improvements

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Android UI/UX best practices and will be able to design and develop visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces.

Required Skills:
  • Kotlin programming language
  • RxJava and HTTP networking (e.g., Retrofit, OkHttp)
  • Android database frameworks (e.g., Room, SQLite)
  • Unit testing for Android (JUnit, Mockito)

In addition to technical skills, the ideal candidate will also possess strong soft skills such as:
