The Opportunity

Flexible, project-based development work awaits as a Mid-Level DevOps Engineer. You will integrate directly into client teams and work alongside designers and engineers on a daily basis.

  • You must have 2+ years of professional experience as a DevOps Engineer.
  • A four-year college degree is required for this position.
  • Advanced English skills are necessary for communication.
  • Experience with Ruby or Ruby on Rails is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with Next.js, Node.js, or JavaScript frameworks is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Python and Shell scripting for automation is required.
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices is essential.
  • Practical experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) is preferred.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and concepts, preferably GitHub Actions, is desirable.
  • Experience with Docker and containerization principles is valuable.
  • The ability to write clean, maintainable code in an object-oriented programming language is crucial.
  • Solid understanding of Git and version control workflows is necessary.
  • An interest in using AI to enhance developer tooling and automation is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of SQL for data manipulation or database operations is beneficial.
  • The ability to work through new and difficult issues and contribute to libraries as needed is essential.
  • The ability to create and maintain continuous integration and delivery of applications is crucial.
  • Attention to detail is vital.
  • A positive mindset and a can-do attitude are required.
  • Experience working on Agile / Scrum teams is beneficial.
  • Meaningful experience working on large, complex systems is valuable.
  • The ability to take ownership over your work is essential.
  • The ability to identify with client goals and dedicate yourself to delivering on commitments is crucial.
