About the RoleThe Director of Development is the primary point of contact with hotel management in LATAM. This position requires an understanding of the hotel development process, knowledge of hotel markets, and the ability to develop relationships with developers.
- Hotel Industry Expertise: Analyze hotel markets to identify potential growth opportunities for Collective Hospitality brands, including new build and conversion possibilities.
- Market Knowledge: Develop extensive knowledge of hotel markets in LATAM to inform business decisions.
- Relationship Building: Establish strong relationships with owners, operators, consultants, management companies, lenders, builders, and other industry professionals.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in hotel franchise sales and development, hotel feasibility, or financial analysis. They should possess strong negotiation and influencing skills, excellent communication and presentation skills, and the ability to multitask.
Key ResponsibilitiesThis role involves representing Collective Hospitality at key industry events, conferences, and tradeshows. The successful candidate will be able to drive business results, meet or exceed goals/quotas, and demonstrate success in meeting business objectives.
