We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our engineering organization and drive the development of our fintech platform. You will work closely with Tech Leads, other Engineering Managers, and cross-functional teams to deliver exciting new products and features aligned with our product roadmap vision. Key Responsibilities- Lead Teams to Deliver on Projects and Programs: Collaborate with teams to break down complex deliveries into smaller pieces and iterate towards successful outcomes.
- Technical Reference and Guidance: Provide high-level technical guidance and support to teams on architectural decisions, ensuring the development process is followed and refined.
- Cross-Team Collaboration and Optimization: Foster collaboration and optimize cross-team collaboration to drive productivity and efficiency.
- Recruiting and Onboarding Strategy: Define and execute a recruiting and onboarding strategy to attract and develop top talent.
- Development Process and Feedback: Ensure the development process is followed and refined, providing structured feedback and career growth opportunities.
- Prioritization of Tech Backlog: Communicate and influence the prioritization of the tech backlog to ensure alignment with business needs.
- Process Improvement and Productivity: Define and implement new processes to enhance productivity and promote collaboration and engagement across teams.
- Technical Leadership and Coaching: Coach and train Tech Leads and other technical references to ensure technical excellence and leadership.
- 5+ Years of Experience in Engineering Management: Proven experience in leading engineering teams and driving technical excellence.
- 10+ Years of Experience in Software Engineering: Strong technical background and experience in software engineering, with a focus on distributed cloud-based solutions.
- Experience with Early-Stage Software Products: Experience taking products from a nascent stage to a higher level of maturity, with a focus on scalability and technical excellence.
- Exceptional Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical requirements and concepts to different audiences.
- Holistic Technical Vision: A holistic technical and architectural vision, with previous development experience and a focus on distributed cloud-based solutions.
- Ability to Design and Deliver Distributed Cloud-Based Solutions: Ability to design, deliver, and operate distributed cloud-based solutions at scale, with a focus on technical excellence and scalability.
