Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Management Professional to join our team as an Assistant Branch Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our store, ensuring that sales and expenses are in line with budget, and managing stock control and shrinkages.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the responsibility and accountability of all aspects of the store
  • Key operational performance assessment and general administration
  • Manage stock control and shrinkages, POS process management, and HR/IR management
  • Customer service and satisfaction, merchandising principles, and marketing implementation
  • Operations policy and procedure, and assist in ensuring that sales and all expenses are in line with budget
  • Ensure that stock indicators are in line with company benchmarks, store profit, and staff management
  • Branch management in the absence of the Branch Manager
Requirements
  • Matric / Grade 12
  • Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
  • Valid driver's license
  • Dynamic, self-motivated, and professional individual
  • Planning and time management skills, customer service experience, and ability to work in a team
  • Bilingual (English / Zulu); Afrikaans (advantageous)
  • Relevant Degree/Diploma (advantageous)
  • At least 3 years' experience in the Agricultural Sector in a Retail Management role
  • Willing to work outside of normal working hours when necessary
  • Ability to work in a corporate environment
  • Traceable references
