Responsibilities

We are seeking a confident, experienced, and hands-on Basis Consultant who has worked across various applications, databases, and operating systems. The ideal candidate will be able to think outside the box, conceptualize new designs, and automate tasks to the maximum extent possible. They will also be a team player, happy to share their knowledge with others.

  • As part of our Implement Teams, you will deliver successful SAP migrations to AWS, owning key components of the migration basis activities.
  • You will provide technical support and evolution to customers who have migrated their SAP systems to AWS, focusing on proactive solutions to avoid future issues and reduce costs.
  • You will coordinate effectively with our and customer teams to deliver successful outcomes.
  • You will proactively identify customer opportunities to deploy additional Lemongrass services and solutions.
  • You will identify opportunities to improve and evolve Lemongrass tooling and methodology.
  • You will provide out-of-hours support cover when scheduled to the support rota.
  • You will deploy Lemongrass tooling to support the automation of basis and infrastructure activities.
  • You will mentor and support more junior consultants.
Qualifications

Required

  • You have experience working with offshore and nearshore solution providers.
  • You have worked for an external SAP Service Provider.
  • You have provided Project Basis Services.
  • You have provided Support Basis Services.
  • You have performed Technical Assessments on larger SAP environments.
  • You have performed Operational Assessments on Outsourced and/or Offshored services.
  • You have performed Quality Assurance on third-party, internal, or external implementations, upgrades, and infrastructure replacements.
  • You have used Solution Manager in the day-to-day service management.
  • You have used Solution Manager in the execution of problem analyses.
  • You have executed application and database upgrades and EhP implementations.
  • You have demonstrated the ability to work collaboratively as part of globally diverse teams.
  • You can work independently with little supervision.
  • The selected applicant will be subject to a background investigation, which will be conducted and the results of which will be used in compliance with applicable law.

Desired

  • You have executed homogenous and heterogeneous system migrations.
  • You have implemented the different Basis components of Solution Manager.
  • You have a good understanding of ITIL.
  • You have a good understanding of RunSAP.
  • You have a good understanding of CHARM, Transport Express, or RevTrack, Redwood Tools, UC4 OneAutomation.
  • You have SAP on AWS experience.
