Procurement Manager

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain project procurement plans in collaboration with the Procurement Manager.
- Review and assist with the preparation of Single Source Justifications and Scope of Work documents.
- Buyer/expediting duties for services and equipment on behalf of clients, coordinating with multiple teams.
- Establish negotiation plans and conduct or participate in negotiations.
- Manage the RFP process, including commercial evaluations and pre-bid meetings.
- Process change orders, RFIs, and submittals.
- Assist with implementing new contract process controls and communicate regularly with stakeholders.
- Produce accurate reports for the project team, stakeholders, and clients.
- Identify and propose industry standards to improve processes.
- Conduct price analysis, modeling, and purchase-price cost analysis to identify competitive benchmarks.
Requirements:
- Desired experience in construction.
- Five to ten years of experience in procurement and contract administration, working on various projects, including technology-based clients.
- Strong understanding of contract requirements and RFX/RFI preparation.
- Ability to build strong cross-functional relationships and establish successful supplier relationships.
- MUST HAVE experience with equipment buying and expediting.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in various procurement methodologies and sourcing techniques.
- Ability to operate effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and challenging deadlines.
- Experience with SAP/ARIBA is a differential.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, influencing, and persuasion skills.
- Proficient in both Portuguese and English; Spanish is a plus.
