Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled System Architect to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for defining and implementing the functional, performance, transverse, and train-level requirements of dedicated subsystems.
Key Responsibilities
- Defining and implementing the functional, performance, transverse, and train-level requirements of dedicated subsystems.
- Delivering subsystem documentation, including requirement specifications and architecture descriptions.
- Integrating subsystems into trains, both mechanically and electrically.
- Defining interfaces for dedicated subsystems, including mechanical and electrical interfaces.
- Verifying subsystems, focusing on train-level design reviews.
- Managing change and configuration management processes for subsystems on train level.
- Controlling changes after design changes, including impact analysis.
- Planning and following up on all activities linked to subsystems.
- Supporting sourcing, suppliers, PUs, S&A engineers, interior engineers, RAMS engineers, and validation engineers.
- Providing inputs to engineering teams, sourcing, suppliers, or PUs.
Qualifications and Experience
- Education: Graduated in Electrical, Mechatronic Engineering, or other related engineering courses.
- Previous experience: Junior Electrical engineer, no specific experience needed (guided by a senior engineer), preferable experienced engineer (3 years experience with the dedicated subsystem in rail business).
- Language skills: Fluent English and Portuguese, Spanish desirable.
- Travel required: Availability for traveling abroad.
