Storekeeper Assistant

Join SBM Offshore, a leading technology provider in the offshore energy industry, as an Assistant Storekeeper. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining effective working relationships with the team, colleagues, and visitors to the working environment.

• Establish and maintain accurate and transparent records using a Computerised Stock Control System.
• Receive stock and check off accurately against manifests and Purchase Orders/Requisitions.
• Assist in carrying out accurate and regular stock audits.
• Liaise with all departments to ensure effective provision of equipment and materials where and when required.
• Ensure equipment and materials are clearly and correctly identified and stored in correct locations.
• Alert the Storekeeper to minimum stock levels and ensure certification requirements of equipment and materials.

• 1 year of experience in the Marine or Petroleum Industry with FPSO experience preferred.
• Experienced with PC-based materials inventory control systems (AMOS preferred).
• Basic understanding of materials, purchasing, and stock management procedures.
• Qualified to trade or technician level in a technical discipline.
• Medically fit with offshore International standards such as ENG1 or equivalent.

• Personal: Safety-oriented, conscientious, accurate, and positive.
• Technical: Appropriate standard of technical and professional knowledge as defined by competencies.
• IT: Good familiarity with standard 'Office' software package and operation and use of Internet and electronic mail system.
