About this role

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to join our fast-growing Fintech company. In this leadership role, you will define and drive the quality assurance strategy across the organization.

This position requires strong technical knowledge to oversee complex QA initiatives, but the focus will be on strategic direction, process optimization, and effective team leadership rather than hands-on execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough analysis of current development and testing processes to identify gaps and improvements.
  • Define and document quality standards, metrics, and KPIs to measure QA effectiveness.
  • Establish and manage QA processes including test planning, defect management, requirements traceability, and release management.
  • Collaborate with Product teams to ensure requirements meet quality standards.

In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the delivery of reliable, secure, and high-quality software products while guiding and mentoring a distributed QA team.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to champion a culture of quality and continuous improvement.

Requirements
  • 9+ years of experience in software quality assurance, including technical testing roles.
  • Proven track record as a QA Lead/Manager with strong backend testing expertise.
  • 3+ years of experience leading and managing QA teams, including distributed remote teams.
  • Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium or similar.
  • Proficiency in programming/scripting for test automation.
  • Experience with version control and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, Agile frameworks, and quality measures.
  • Exceptional leadership, project management, and communication skills.
