Public Cloud Project Manager Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Public Cloud Project Manager to deliver successful projects for our key Tier 1 Enterprise Public Cloud accounts.

The ideal candidate will have a proven background in IT Cloud industry as a software development project manager, IT program/project manager, agile software manager or scrum master. They should also have a deep understanding of Linux, Open source, and the Public Cloud space, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills.

This role entails managing multiple blue-chip company projects simultaneously, shaping Service Level Agreements with our clients, managing projects through their life-cycles, and ensuring the overall goals for both parties are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Management: Ensuring programs and projects are delivered within the schedule, scope, cost, and resources expectations.
  • Risk Identification and Mitigation: Identifying key technical and project risks and issues and actively putting mitigating actions in place.
  • Customer Focus: Maintaining strong customer focus and working with all key stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.
  • Status Meetings and Reviews: Conducting regular status meetings and business reviews with customers and providing direction when needed.
  • Critical Third-Party Deliverables: Managing the delivery schedule of critical third-party deliverables for the project.
  • Engineering Requests: Identifying and managing cross-organization engineering requests that are not part of existing business contracts.
