This role presents an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned Manufacturing Manager to contribute to our global operations, leveraging their expertise to drive standardization and process optimization across our Back End manufacturing network.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement global standards for Back End processes, including equipment specifications, SOPs, maintenance standards, operating parameters, and troubleshooting methodologies.
- Maintain global best practices for Back End equipment operation and lead cross-functional teams to establish quality parameters, skills matrices, and training plans.
- Collaborate with Regional Process leads to support best practice discovery, deployment, and tracking, as well as develop a roadmap for technical resource development globally.
- Lead the collaboration of Regional Process leads to address quality, efficiency, spoilage, and maintenance issues.
- Work with Global Equipment Wellness teams to establish overhaul activity, critical measurements, frequency, and budgets for Back End process equipment.
- Contribute to the development of new specifications, operating parameters, and necessary standards for the deployment of innovative technologies globally.
- Support the establishment of total cost of ownership across competitive supplier equipment with procurement.
- Utilize data-driven approaches to drive decision-making and foster strong relationships with suppliers and OEMs.
- Develop and maintain document management systems and change control procedures.
Requirements:
- Completed Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, preferably.
- Advanced/Fluent English language proficiency.
- Experience in Can Manufacturing, Back End Subject Matter Expertise.
- Lean Manufacturing and project management experience, with a focus on budgeting and resource allocation.
- Strong technical leadership and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate technical verbiage into clear, concise language.
- Experience with machinery maintenance, mechanical systems, and preventive maintenance strategies.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, TPM, DMAIC, and Kaizen methodologies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 suite and project management tools.
