Job Summary

The Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer role plays a pivotal part in building and maintaining quality assurance frameworks. Key responsibilities include collaborating with the Staff QA Engineer, contributing to our central test framework, and defining ongoing requirements.

  • Partner with the Staff QA Engineer to contribute to our central test framework.
  • Contribute innovative ideas to enhance tech capabilities within the team.
  • Broaden our automated tests for internal tooling.
  • Be part of creating initial core test suites and define quality from early stages.
  • Contribute to data and analytics team development and research.
  • Sustain test architecture support for game and engineering teams.
  • Define tooling and solutions as best practices for QA automation efforts.
  • Participate in the Fortis QA advanced test strategy definition for all projects.

Key Skills & Qualifications

We seek an expert in programming languages (JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, Python) and front-end frameworks (React, Angular). Relevant experience includes automating integrity, schema, and ETL checks, as well as proficiency with AWS cloud services, RDBMS, API contract testing, and CI/CD workflows.

  • Proficiency in programming languages (JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, Python).
  • Experience with front-end frameworks (React, Angular).
  • Able to automate integrity, schema, and ETL checks.
  • Validate end-to-end data flows and BI outputs with analytics tools.
  • Define and monitor quality rules in Datadog and similar platforms.
  • Knowledge of AWS cloud services, including S3, EC2, and messaging services.
  • Familiarity with RDBMS such as Postgres, preferably with SQL query writing skills.
  • Strong understanding of API contract testing.
  • Good understanding of Linux environment and CI/CD workflows.
