About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Electrical Integration Engineer with experience in planning and piloting electrical domain activities. As part of our project team, you will be responsible for designing products, managing production deliverables, and ensuring domain deliverables quality and acceptance.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and executing electrical domain activities, aligning with project instructions and customer requirements;
  • Applying rules, processes, and tools to ensure domain deliverables quality and acceptance;
  • Managing production of deliverables, adhering to planning targets and committed limits;
  • Designing products, considering project requirements such as performance, manufacturability, serviceability, and testability;
  • Solving project issues within assigned zones;
  • Reporting on electrical domain activities progress and alerting relevant stakeholders in case of potential issues impacting QCD commitments;
  • Respecting and allocating requirements and interfaces to subsystems/equipment;
  • Analyzing change request impacts on assigned zones and applying changes if approved;
  • Validating relevant domain deliverables and securing planning;
  • Supporting sourcing, industrialization, and manufacturing teams during production ramp-up;
  • Defining project decomposition (PBS);
  • Performing 3D, design annotations, and 2D deliverables in compliance with commitments and Metier rules;
  • Modeling and storing allocated volumes and interfaces for sub-systems/components in digital mock-up;
  • Performing detailed design on internal sub-systems;
  • Verifying consistency of digital mock-up (no clashes) and compliance with requirements (allocated volumes, weight, interfaces, etc.) on assigned scope;
  • Checking CADs' and subcontractor's design quality;
  • Realizing stack-up analysis;
  • Quoting engineering work-packages upon request;
  • Collaborating with continuous improvement of the team (including RoE).
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, preferably applied to railway products;
  • 1-2 years of experience in electrical domain activities;
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, including with third parties (customers);
  • Time management and reporting skills;
  • A sense of urgency/priority;
  • A structured and organized approach with hands-on experience;
  • Advanced English language skills (reading, writing, speaking, and technical meetings);
  • Experience in cable distribution/harness, electrical cubicles, and related accessories applied to railway products (or automotive or aerospace domains) with 3+ years of experience;
  • Proficiency in CATIA V5;
  • Microsoft 365 tools advanced user;
  • Conflict management and multitasking skills;
  • Customer focus/management skills;
  • DMA user (or PLM system) desirable;
  • SAP desirable;
  • Power BI knowledge an asset.
