Job Overview

We are seeking a talented software engineer to join our global team. As a pioneering tech firm, we publish Ubuntu, one of the most important open-source projects and the platform for AI, IoT, and the cloud.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop high-quality, well-structured microservices using Python and/or Go.
  • Collaborate with globally distributed teams to deliver robust and scalable applications.
  • Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing across teams.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure quality and reliability.
Requirements:
  • A strong academic track record and undergraduate degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Python and/or Go programming languages.
  • Experience with relational and non-relational database systems.
  • Continuous integration and delivery experience.
  • Systems programming and scalable web services experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
