Job Summary
Ci&T Software S.A. is seeking a highly motivated and talented Automation Tester to join our team on a mobile project. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of our mobile applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manual, exploratory, and automated QA of mobile applications (iOS and Android)
- Actively contributing towards the development of test strategy, tools, and services
- Improve the quality standards and processes, making sure they are being followed by the entire team throughout the development life cycle
- Look for continuous improvement, also increasing the use of test automation inside the development team
- Design and create automated test cases to address business and technical use cases and acceptance criteria
- Document, manage, and communicate quality metrics and KPIs
- Validate acceptance criteria from stories along with PO and Scrum Master and then utilize them as part of your testing plan
Requirements:
- Advanced communication skills in English
- Experience as a mobile Quality Assurance Analyst or similar role, performing software testing activities (Test Plan, Test Script, Test Execution, Bug Report) for mobile applications
- Strong understanding of mobile application capabilities, device, and OS variants, and how to execute tests that reflect real-world conditions
- Strong experience in mobile test automation, e.g., Appium, as well as leveraging device farms for visual regression testing
- Understanding of git or other source control & task management tools (e.g., Jira)
- Experience working within a mature CI/CD environment and how QA participates
Nice to Have:
- Ideally having worked with Sauce Labs, Espresso, XCUITest, and Appium
