Senior Loan Closing Specialist
Job OverviewThe role of Senior Loan Closing Specialist is crucial in ensuring the smooth and error-free loan closing process. This position requires a high level of organizational skills, strong communication, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:- Quartermaster the loan closing process by working closely with loan officers, underwriters, borrowers, attorneys, and the loan closing management team.
- Collaborate with the borrower, attorneys, and third parties to ensure necessary documents and items are produced on time for the set closing date.
- Lead the closing kick-off call and serve as the point person for telephone inquiries from borrowers and Bank personnel regarding loans in process.
- Responsible for assembling the credit file for accuracy and completeness prior to loans closing.
- A minimum of five years of work experience in SBA and/or USDA preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication and detail-oriented skills.
