About the Role:
Environmental Resources Management (ERM) is seeking a highly motivated and practical Junior Environmental Consultant to join our team. As an EHS Consultant, you will work under the direction of program managers and partners on exciting projects in various regions, collaborating with ERM's technical experts to handle environmental and safety audits, risk assessment, process safety projects, and chemical review.
Main Responsibilities:
- Perform legal and EHS compliance audits, preliminary assessment audits (DD38);
- Conduct field visits to assess environmental and safety conditions;
- Develop and implement health and safety protocols and procedures;
- Design and deliver training programs to ensure compliance with regulations;
- Prepare and review technical reports in English and Portuguese;
- Support clients in complying with environmental process safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Degree in Chemical, Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering;
- Experience with EHS audits, reviewing regulations, and requesting evidence of compliance;
- Proven track record in preparing technical reports;
- Availability for business travel.
