We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Web Development Specialist to craft visually appealing and user-friendly websites for small business clients using platforms like WordPress, Wix or Shopify. The ideal candidate will have a strong design sense, excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
The role involves building and publishing websites based on customer needs and preferences, working closely with internal teams to interpret customer input and deliver high-quality sites, adapting templates and customizing content, layout, design and interactivity, and applying good design principles to create engaging user experiences.
The successful candidate will possess strong design instincts and experience with branding, layout and web aesthetics, familiarity with WordPress, Wix, Shopify or similar CMS platforms, a great eye for detail, typography, spacing, color and user journey, problem-solving mindset and ability to work across various industries and business types, excellent communication and organization skills, English language proficiency (C1/C2 level or Advanced), written content creation experience with SEO knowledge, and knowledge of HTML/CSS.
A portfolio or examples of past work is highly encouraged, as well as experience with small business or eCommerce clients.
Requirements:- High school diploma required; degree in Marketing, Web Design, UI/UX or similar is a plus.
- Experience with platforms like WordPress, Wix or Shopify is essential.
