Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and charismatic Coffee Connoisseur to join our team at Accor Hotels. As a Barista, you will play a key role in creating memorable experiences for our customers by preparing high-quality coffee and other beverages, providing outstanding customer service, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and espresso-based drinks, teas, and other beverages
• Ensure consistency and quality in every cup by following established recipes and techniques
• Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders and answering any questions they may have
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including cleaning equipment, restocking supplies, and following sanitation guidelines
• Operate coffee-making equipment such as espresso machines, grinders, and brewers with precision and care
• Handle cash transactions and operate the point-of-sale system accurately
• Assist with inventory management, including monitoring stock levels and placing orders as needed
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service and a positive work environment
• Stay informed about coffee trends and continuously improve your knowledge and skills through training and practice

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a barista or in a similar role is preferred
• Passion for coffee and a strong desire to learn more about coffee preparation and brewing techniques
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage and build rapport with customers
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and operating the point-of-sale system
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items, such as bags of coffee beans and milk containers
• Positive attitude, reliability, and a strong work ethic
