Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Fitness Facility Ambassador to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional member experiences by providing superior levels of customer service, ensuring the smooth operation of the facility, and promoting a positive and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure timely opening and closing of the facility, adhering to established protocols
  • Provide exceptional customer service to members, guests, and prospective members, responding promptly to inquiries and resolving issues in a professional manner
  • Manage front desk activities, including checking in members, handling new member sign-ups, and facilitating necessary updates to member accounts
  • Maintain a clean and organized facility, ensuring that all areas meet high standards of cleanliness and safety
  • Promote fitness programs and services, identifying opportunities to enhance member engagement and retention
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field
  • Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic computer proficiency, with ability to learn and adapt to new systems
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse groups
  • Able to stand and work for extended periods, with flexibility to work variable schedules as needed
Physical Functions:
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds, with occasional need to move heavy equipment
  • Ability to work in a team environment, with strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
