Application Management Lead

This role within the Application Management Team focuses on managing and integrating enterprise applications, following global governance, and defining and ensuring development framework and quality to assure business continuity.

  • Enterprise Integration Management: Oversee the complete lifecycle of enterprise integration applications for SAP Business Technology Platform, API Portal & API Management, and Netweaver Suite Management.
  • Development Management: Oversee the complete development lifecycle considering best-in-class frameworks for quality and governance.
  • Application Support: Provide end-to-end support, including vendor and contract management, KPI monitoring (using the ITIL framework), and crisis management (P1 incidents).
  • Solution Delivery: Manage the delivery of solutions ranging from minor enhancements to complex projects, ensuring timely and high-quality results within scope and budget.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment. Combine team members' expertise and soft skills to build high-performing units.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a leadership role (mainly functional and technical leadership), managing application delivery teams.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills in English (desired in Spanish).
  • Experience working with global teams.
  • Deep understanding of integration patterns, technologies (e.g., API Management, SAP BTP, microservices, message queues), and best practices for designing and implementing robust, scalable integration solutions.
  • Ability to design and architect integration solutions that meet business requirements while adhering to technical standards and best practices.

Familiarity with NetWeaver administration, Basis configuration, and system monitoring is a plus.
