IT Compliance Operations Specialist

Overview of the Role
As a Compliance Business Analyst at Caterpillar, you will play a key role in ensuring the company adheres to relevant laws and regulations. Your primary focus will be on supporting operational compliance processes and communications development. This involves collaborating with team members and business unit partners globally, with primary contacts typically located in North America.
Responsibilities
You will participate in developing functional requirements for business systems, testing, training, and implementing applications. Additionally, you will handle customer support processes and activities for the implementation of new or existing applications. Your responsibilities may also include designing, prototyping, and testing new or enhanced applications with guidance. Furthermore, you will monitor the efficiency and effectiveness of application operations and troubleshoot problems as necessary. Your tasks will involve translating client requirements to functional documentation, participating in technical designs, and test planning with coaching and training.
Key Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should possess knowledge of business analysis and the set of tasks, techniques, and tools required to identify business needs. You should be able to recommend solutions that deliver value to stakeholders. You should also have a strong understanding of effective communication concepts, tools, and techniques, as well as the ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors. Proficiency in MS365 products, ITIL knowledge, and a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a similar IT area are also essential. Advanced English skills and proficiency in process execution, process development, and regulatory processes are highly desirable.
