Job Title: Applications Development Expert

Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Applications Development Expert to drive the development of complex business needs and provide innovative solutions for our Salesforce ecosystem.

This role will report into IT Business Systems team and collaborate closely with key business functions such as commercial sales, marketing, agronomy, finance, supply chain, and IT to deliver smart, forward-looking solutions and operational efficiency.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Administer, design, develop, and support the Salesforce Platform (Sales, Service, Marketing/Pardot, Experience Cloud) to meet business requirements.
  • Own release cycles to implement and deploy new or updated applications and code, ensuring timely and apt solutions.
  • Develop Apex classes and triggers, experience building Custom User Interface, including Visualforce pages/Lightning pages, Aura Components, and Lightning Web Components.
  • Design and develop sites using Experience Site Builder and customize the experience site interface to suit business needs.
  • Design and develop custom workflows and approval flows that fit business requirements, preparing solution design documents, data flow diagrams, test cases, etc.
  • Maintain Salesforce best practices, document code, and write/maintain test classes for all custom development.
  • Closely work with extended IT developers to design, develop, test, implement, and support system solutions primarily in Salesforce Platform.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

At least 7 years of hands-on development and design experience with Salesforce Platform is required. Candidates must have experience implementing and developing in Apex, LWC/Aura/Visualforce, general web development experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, experience working with large data sets, Salesforce APIs, and bulkification. Excellent analytical and debugging skills are crucial. Knowledge of IT SDLC and SOX methodologies is mandatory.

A Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or information systems is preferred. Ability to work as part of an IT team with clear verbal and written communication is essential.
