We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead data strategy and architecture for high-impact clients. This role is ideal for an expert in building, scaling, and securing modern data platforms using Microsoft ecosystem.
This senior-level position involves designing and developing data platforms using Microsoft Fabric (Synapse, OneLake), developing scalable pipelines with Azure Data Factory, optimizing data performance, and ensuring governance and security.
The ideal candidate will have 15+ years of experience in data engineering/architecture, with deep expertise in Microsoft technologies, including Fabric, Synapse, OneLake, Azure Data Factory, Delta/Parquet optimization, Spark, dimensional modeling, data governance, and CI/CD pipelines.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and build data platforms using Microsoft Fabric
- Develop scalable pipelines with Azure Data Factory
- Optimize data performance using Delta/Parquet, partitioning, and Spark
- Model data into easy-to-use structures (star schema, dimensional modeling)
- Ensure governance and security with Purview, RBAC, ACLs, and related frameworks
- Automate deployments with CI/CD for data pipelines
- Work on shaping the data foundation of a fast-growing startup
- Be part of a team that values autonomy, innovation, and impact
- Be at the forefront of Microsoft's new Fabric ecosystem
