Mobile Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Mobile Engineer to fill this key position. As a vital member of our engineering team, you will collaborate closely with peers and product managers to ensure clarity, proper prioritization, and successful project delivery.

  • Maintain and enhance existing features in React Native and Swift (iOS) applications by leveraging your expertise in mobile application development.
  • Debug and resolve complex issues across platforms using your analytical skills and experience.
  • Provide technical input on the mobile roadmap through stakeholder collaboration, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code that meets industry standards.
  • Conduct unit and integration testing to ensure quality, following established methodologies.
  • Improve mobile CI/CD pipelines to streamline the development process.
  • Develop future mobile development strategies, including app templates and standardized tools to enhance productivity.
  • Support the development of new mobile apps from the ground up, working closely with cross-functional teams.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in mobile application development.
  • Proven experience with React Native, with a strong understanding of its capabilities and limitations.
  • Exposure to Swift (iOS) applications, with the ability to adapt to new technologies.
  • A strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, with experience in Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues.
  • Experience with unit and integration testing methodologies, with a focus on quality assurance.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with Git/GitHub, CI/CD, CodeMagic, Expo, Android Play Store, and Testflight.
  • Experience with analytics tools like Amplitude, with a focus on data-driven decision making.
  • Upper-Intermediate English level, with the ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal forms.
