As a Senior Data Engineer in our Data Solutions squad, you'll be responsible for designing and implementing innovative data solutions that enhance automation, efficiency, and productivity for data practitioners across the organization.

Job Overview

This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to architect and develop in-house data solutions that meet organizational needs. You'll lead the evaluation and integration of cutting-edge technologies to optimize our data and machine learning processes.

Your primary goal will be to ensure robust data architecture and technical product integration, enhancing the overall data ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable and reliable data platforms to collect, organize, and process large datasets.
  • Collaborate with teams to architect and develop data solutions that meet organizational requirements.
  • Evaluate and integrate new technologies to improve data and machine learning processes.
  • Ensure robust data architecture and technical product integration.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need hands-on expertise in data engineering and architecture, with experience in building in-house solutions to address common data engineering patterns.

You should be proficient in CDC, Flink, Spark, Airflow, Trino, and Kubernetes, and have a strong understanding of data lakehouse design and technical integration with products.

A passion for data democratization, making data accessible and useful across the organization, is essential.

Familiarity with data management tools (e.g., OpenMetadata) and/or MLOps frameworks (e.g., Metaflow, Kubeflow) is a plus.

Experience with scalable data processing and storage solutions (e.g., S3 Management, Trino, Hive Metastore) is also beneficial.
