Job Description

Main Responsibilities:
  • Become an expert in Oracle Analytics services, developing skills to prevent and resolve customer issues effectively.
  • Collaborate with global teams to drive change through data-driven decision making, improving uptime and reducing time to mitigation.
  • Develop tools and technologies to enhance cloud-based services, driving collaborative solutions across multiple disciplines.

Career Level - IC3

Responsibilities:
  • Perform DevOps activities to support customers, engineers, and processes through release cycles and production.
  • Participate in a follow-the-sun model for 24x7 support of Oracle Analytics services.
  • Respond to incidents, troubleshoot issues, and drive them to completion, participating in root cause analysis.
  • Document various processes and run-books, updating existing ones.
  • Execute delivery of interim patches and hot-fixes as required.
  • Work with various teams to take ownership of service failure/outages.
  • Monitor metrics and develop ways to improve CI/CD tools utilized by the team.
Required Skills:
  • 5+ years of experience running large-scale customer-facing Web Applications.
  • Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or AWS, Azure, GCP compute, storage, and network operational experience.
  • Programming languages such as Python, Ansible, bash, JavaScript, and Java.
  • Experience with CI/CD scripting tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration using Kubernetes.
