We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Java Specialist to join our Core department.
This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality Java applications and systems that support our current and future Java applications.
As a key member of the development team, your primary focus will be to ensure that the solutions are efficient, scalable, and aligned with business objectives.
- Collaborate closely with technology leaders and the product team to understand department goals and requirements.
- Design and develop robust architecture systems for Java-based projects, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability.
- Lead technical architecture design and implementation of Java-based projects.
- Conduct comprehensive system performance tests to identify bottlenecks, assess system capacity, and fine-tune application performance.
- Generate and present detailed systems reports, including performance metrics, bottlenecks, and recommendations for improvements.
For this position, you should possess:
- Bachelor's degree in software engineering or computer science.
- Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in Java development.
- Solid experience in Java application development and/or software architecture.
- In-depth knowledge of object-oriented design principles and design patterns.
- Ability to write clean, efficient, and readable code.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP (desired).
- Experience with Java development frameworks like Spring and Hibernate.
- Event-driven architecture design experience.
