Backend Developer Position

We are seeking a skilled backend developer to join our team and help us create innovative solutions for our clients. As a senior backend software engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance backend systems that power our clients' web and mobile applications.

  • You will design, develop, and maintain scalable APIs and backend services using Python (Django) and Node.js, as well as cloud services like AWS (Lambda, S3, EC2, RDS).
  • You will collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to ensure seamless integration of front-end and back-end functionality.
  • You will optimize database performance (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and ensure the reliability and security of data management systems.
  • You will develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments, ensuring smooth and efficient releases.
  • You will work with containerization technologies like Docker and manage infrastructure using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • You will write clean, modular, and well-documented code following best practices to ensure maintainability.
  • You will troubleshoot and resolve backend issues as they arise during development, testing, or production.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5-10 years of experience in backend software development, with a proven track record in cloud-based architectures, particularly AWS services (Lambda, S3, EC2, RDS).
  • Expertise in Python and JavaScript (Node.js), with proficiency in building RESTful APIs and scalable backend systems.
  • Experience developing with MVC frameworks, preferably Django to build backend systems and APIs.
  • Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker) and deploying infrastructure with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Deep understanding of relational (MySQL) databases, with experience in performance tuning and query optimization.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on scalable, performance-optimized solutions.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git and automated deployment pipelines (CI/CD).
  • Experience with microservices architecture and API design is a plus.
