Business Integration Specialist

Job Summary:

The Business Integration Specialist plays a crucial role in facilitating collaboration between customer business teams and project delivery teams. This position requires expertise in the Gridstream product, with a focus on working across departments to provide seamless integration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collecting and configuring business requirements from customer teams.
  • Providing integration consulting and defining business processes.
  • Supporting customers with hands-on product experience and data analysis.
  • Ensuring accurate project documentation and collaborating with solution architects to document customizations.
  • Working closely with implementation and project managers to meet data SLAs during project planning and hand-off stages.
  • Supporting testing and validating integration interfaces within customer landscapes.
  • Collaborating with QA teams to validate test cases and support system validation.
  • Participating in response teams for root cause analysis of system problems.
  • Liaising with other business units to resolve issues and follow through on defects.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field is required.
  • Utility experience is highly preferred.
  • Background in software quality testing is desired.
  • Strong analytical skills are essential for methodical root cause analysis and troubleshooting.
  • Adaptability in a dynamic work environment is crucial.
  • Experience with Oracle database and SQL skills are necessary.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills are required.
  • Self-motivation, proactivity, and ability to work under stressful conditions are essential.
  • Demonstrated customer focus and ability to resolve customer issues appropriately.
  • Strong customer communication and service skills are necessary.
  • Team player with the ability to work unsupervised and plan schedules.
  • Good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for solving problems.
  • Ability to travel approximately 50%.
