We are seeking a highly qualified individual to fill a full-time position as an Assistant or Associate Professor in the Department of Economics at the Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio).

The successful candidate will have a strong background in economics and a proven track record of excellence in research and teaching. The ideal candidate will have completed all Ph.D. requirements by June 2025 or have two to three years of experience as an Assistant Professor.

The position involves teaching and research in economics, with a focus on developing and maintaining a strong research program. The candidate will be expected to publish high-quality research papers and participate in departmental and university service.
