Senior Backend Developer Position

We are seeking a skilled Senior Backend Developer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional who enjoys investigating complex systems and troubleshooting.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and scaling backend services using Java in a modern, cloud-based environment. They will also build mission-critical solutions with performance, observability, and fault tolerance in mind.

  • Develop scalable backend services using Java in a cloud-based environment.
  • Build high-performance solutions with observability and fault tolerance.
  • Work on event-driven architectures integrating Kafka, SQS, or RabbitMQ.
  • Implement scalable data operations using MySQL/PostgreSQL and containerization.
  • Leverage AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, ECS, and messaging tools.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need strong hands-on experience with Java backend development, solid testing practices, and proficiency in relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.

  • Strong experience with Java backend development.
  • Solid testing practices including unit, integration, and performance testing.
  • Proficiency in relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
  • Experience working in containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS).
  • Familiarity with AWS core services including Lambda, SQS, SNS, ECS, and API Gateway.
