Project Manager - Linguistic Expert

The role of the Project Manager - Linguistic Expert is to oversee and coordinate the completion of linguistic projects in a dynamic environment.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Oversight of the entire life-cycle of multiple localization projects
  • Coordination of project phases, predicting lifespan, and liaison with sales staff
  • Negotiation of deadlines and rates with vendors, establishment of relationships with contract translators and proofreaders
  • Monitoring and controlling project status, preparation of documentation, and ensuring compliance with relevant procedures

In addition to these key responsibilities, the ideal candidate will possess:

  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with other languages being an asset
  • A university degree in Translation or Communication-related fields, with a minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar corporate position
  • Detail-oriented multitasking, problem-solving, and analytical skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
