Senior Mobile Automation Tester

We are currently looking for a highly motivated and talented Tester to join our team on a mobile project. The products developed are intended for clients in the financial market, providing information and facilities for purchasing mutual funds, ETFs, retirement plans, bonds, and other financial products.

The ideal candidate will have great English communication skills, vast experience with tests in Mobile Automation, and a strong understanding of mobile application capabilities, device and OS variants, and how to execute tests that reflect real-world conditions. Experience working within a mature CI/CD environment and how QA participates is also a must.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manual, exploratory and automated QA of mobile applications (iOS and Android)
  2. Actively contributing towards development of test strategy, tools, and services
  3. Improve the quality standards and processes, making sure they are being followed by the entire team throughout the development life cycle
  4. Look for continuously improve, also increasing the use of test automation inside the development team
  5. Design and create automated test cases to address business and technical use cases and acceptance criteria
  6. Document, manage and communicate quality metrics and KPIs
  7. Validate acceptance criteria from stories along with PO and Scrum Master and then utilize them as part of your testing plan

Requirements for this challenge:

  1. Advanced communication skills in English
  2. Experience as a mobile Quality Assurance Analyst or similar role, performing software testing activities (Test Plan, Test Script, Test Execution, Bug Report) for mobile applications
  3. Strong understanding of mobile application capabilities, device and OS variants, and how to execute tests that reflect real-world conditions
  4. Strong experience in mobile test automation, e.g. Appium, as well as leveraging device farms for visual regression testing
  5. Understanding of git or other source control & also task management tools (e.g: Jira)
  6. Experience working within a mature CI/CD environment and how QA participates
  7. Strong experience working in agile teams exhibiting best practices

Nice to Have:

Ideally having worked with Sauce Labs, Espresso, XCUITest and Appium.
