Accounts Payable Specialist

As a skilled accounts payable professional, you will play a critical role in maintaining the collection and reconciliation of assigned receivable balances for our large dynamic technology organization.

• Achieve account reconciliation on assigned accounts with minimal guidance based on authority matrix levels.
• Research account histories of new and existing customers with minimal guidance.
• Contact customers for payment information based on aging and review code categories.
• Identify issues blocking payment and take necessary steps to resolve them.
• Recognize red flags on accounts and bring them to the attention of management.

• >1 to 3 Years of relevant work experience.
• High school graduate required.
• Associate degree preferred.
• Working knowledge of account reconciliation/credit procedures.
• Working knowledge of return merchandise authorization/program process (from issuance of RMA# to credit processing or program extension to program conclusion).
• Working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to recognize basic account receivable issues and problem resolution with some guidance.
• Introduction to proactive resolution.
• Ability to organize work and time wisely.
• Able to execute instructions and request clarification when needed.
• Able to use common office equipment.
• Possesses basic data entry skills.
• Able to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Able to recognize and attend to important details with accuracy and efficiency.
• Able to communicate clearly and convey necessary information.
• Able to converse and write effectively in English.
